We asked coffee roasters to send us their version of "classic" espresso blends. Some roasters sent in their version of Italian-American style espresso blends. That is bold, darker-roasted, chocolaty-sweet blends that maintain their presence well in milk. Others submitted what might be considered "classic" third-wave espressos. Those are light-roasted and more fruit-driven blends. Coffee lovers can decide for themselves what "classic" means to them.
